Scope and Purpose

Safe handling, charging, storage and maintenance of lead-acid, NiCd and lithium-ion batteries. This safe work procedure establishes the minimum safety requirements for Battery Storage and Charging operations. It applies to all workers, contractors and visitors who may be involved in or exposed to these activities.
